California Department of Health Services Breast and Cervical Cancer Program
Poster, 1993
This campaign promoted the benefits of breast cancer screening and early detection services, targeting low income, uninsured and underinsured women age 50 and older, whose incidence of cancer is not necessarily higher, but whose mortality rate is, due to later-stage diagnosis. Rather than using fear tactics, our strategy was to communicate with the audience of women through those who know, love and influence them. Click for PDF
